2018 BMW X5 Redesign, Release Date

The 2018 BMW X5 is a luxurious SUV manufactured by BMW. According to BMW, this model was actually referred to as a SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) rather than an SUV. This is because; it has a crossover of the SUVs and the unibody car-framed platforms.

This SUV was first launched in 1999 and later its variants were released. The specialty of X5 was an xDrive feature. This xDrive feature actually gives the power to all the wheels, unlike the other cars that are only providing it to the rear ones.

In 2006, the second-gen X5 was released that was actually known as E70, was capable of splitting the torque in rear and front wheels along with the automated transmission. The M performance X5 was released in 2010.

The latest version of BMW X5 will be a built on the new platform, similar to that is incorporated in its X7. This all-new X5 will be upgraded with the latest infotainment system along with new engines under the hood and has got light top architecture. It is expected to be equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 engine. The new version is said to deliver a power output of 300 hp. It will emit less emission and offer a better fuel consumption than its predecessors.

The latest version of BMW X5 will receive a facelift to its predecessors that will give more charming and fresh look. There are obvious changes and improvements in the exterior and interior designs and also better fuel consumptions. The internal and external features are likely to be a broader version of its new X3 that is rumored to release in early 2018.

The 2018 BMW X5 boasts of a streamlined unibody that is the specialization of this vintage car. The future model, BMW X7 is expected to be built on the same platform of the latest X5. Front grille, bumper, and headlights along with the fog lights are expected to redesign with significant changes.

Interior of new X5 will be designed with better quality materials and is provided with several airbags. A number of airbags are expected to increase which is still uncertain. The other features that include improved infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, Wi-Fi hotspot, HD radio and satellite navigations will be upgraded to its latest versions.
