The 2017 Lexus LX 570 is a rare kind of SUV; it is a luxury vehicle that also does exceptionally well in off-road situations. Because it does stand to inherit all the great features of Toyota Land Cruiser, this model will bring with it a good dose of luxury, sophistication and style as well as extra features. While it will pack off-road ruggedness, it will be just as refined. With wheelbase and widths of over 112 inches and 75 inches respectively, occupants should brace themselves for increased leg and headroom.

The 2017 Lexus LX 570 will have an illuminated console and a 12.3-inch navigation screen with commands for functions such as automated interior climate control, auto-dimming heated mirrors to minimize glare coming from bright lights of tailing vehicles and personalized setting dial to customize most of the vehicle’s settings. The SUV will maintain the dual rear screens that provide a cinematic experience for occupants in the rear seats.

2017 Lexus LX 570 – Main Power Production Unit

The 2017 Lexus LX 570 will depend on the 5.7 L VVT V8 engine, the same one that powers the current year model. This power train has four cams with four valves for every cylinder and dual variable valve timing complete with intelligence and electronic intake. It gives an amazing output of 383 horsepower with a corresponding 403 lb-ft of torque.

It has an automatic eight-speed sequential shift transmission controlled electronically. The 4WD drive train will power this luxury SUV from zero to 60 mph in just over seven seconds reaching a top track speed of 137 mph.

With fuel economies well in their teens, this SUV will not be cheap to maintain. The forecast fuel ratings are 13 mpg within city limits, 18 mpg on the highways and a combined consumption of 15 mpg.

2017 Lexus LX 570 – Price and Release Date

The 2017 Lexus LX 570 will hit the markets with each unit costing in the regions of US$ 90,000. This is a few hundred dollars above the cost of the current year model. This is definitely not cheap but compared to the luxury this beast packs; it does quite measure up. The tentative release date is the third quarter of 2016 with the most probable month of release being August.
