The vehicle menacingly stands upon huge tires you would not find on a sedan or SUV but on a workhorse like the Toyota Land Cruiser. The hood has been designed to slant a bit and it is fitted with air intake vents on either sides, which should enhance the aerodynamics and the speed this car would have. Furthermore, the 2017 Land Rover Defender has new LED lights and a newly designed grille that make the car look sportier. The Land Rover Defender 2017 will come with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine, the same V6 engine found in Jaguar. The inline 4-unit cylinders will either be diesel or petrol fired. The other option is a 3.0-liter V6 engine that can deliver 240 hp and 360 Nm torque. Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine will also be offered. Whatever engine type is fitted, it will be matted with either a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is expected to be between 25 mpg and 30 mpg on the highway.

Land Rover Defender 2017 – Release Date and Price

The new Land Rover Defender 2017 model is expected to be on sale in the middle of 2016. The price for the basic model is speculated to be somewhere in the region of $55,000.
