Nissan has promised to deliver a car that is spectacular than most people would have thought and so we wait for the 2017 Nissan Patrol with bated breath. A lot has been said, spy cameras have allegedly caught glimpses of what the car will look like and speculators have had their say; it is time now to get to the truth of what Nissan meant by “spectacular” as well as what is realistic.

The new Nissan 2017 patrol is expected to be built on the same platform as the previous patrol. The only sure thing about the exterior is that it will have some its features refreshed to give it a more stylish and elegant look. The vehicle will be less angular, i.e., it will have more curvier attributes even the headlights are set to be round and the bumper will have a great wrap-around shape. The aim is to make the car look a little bit more mainstream, more elegant more like the breed of SUV’S we’ve been seeing on the road. Nissan has incorporated a new grille supported by a proper fender and round lights. The front also has headlights that add to its appealing looks.


The interior has also undergone a face-lift with quality fabric encasing seats . the interior is spacious and can accommodate 7 people comfortably. The cabin and console have some impressive additions like the Bose 13 speaker audio system. It will also come with a seven-inch full-or touch screen. The car is fitted features that make connectivity to the internet and smart devices easy but most importantly are the safety features that have gotten a full overhaul and beefed up the security. The features are newer and much effective.


Some of the features found on the Patrol include airbags for both the front and rear passengers, parking sensors for the front and back, or the new 2017 Nissan Patrol. You get the sense that Nissan through a considerable amount of time and effort coming up with a car that customers will appreciate.

2017 Nissan Patrol – Engine Specs


The engine, the powerhouse of this machine might have one of the two motors on offer by Nissan. The base version will use a 5,6-litre V8 engine that can produce 317 of horsepower at 385 lb. ft. Torque. The engines will be coupled to a 5-speed transmission. There will be a normal, non-electrical 5.6 liter engine that that will produce as much as 400 horsepower and a torque at 413 lb.ft. of torque. The first engine will be mated with a 6-speed transmission whilst the other non-electrical powered engine will be mated with a 7-speed transmission.

2017 Nissan Patrol – Release Date and Price


Nissan has been cagey with information on when this car will be available to consumers. The fact that it is coming is true but when that will happen still remains a mystery. We can speculate that since it is being designed as a 2017 model then the 2017 Nissan Patrol should be in production by now in order to make it for a mid to end of year release. 2017 Nissan Patrol model is expected to cost $45,000.
