Seen as an effort by the company to widen its grip on the SUV market and see its profits rise, Chrysler is bringing forward a new refreshment; The 2017 Chrysler Aspen. This full sized 3-row SUV was first introduced in 2006 and since then this car has gone through a lot of changes. Considering the automaker has some time left to fine tune their design before they officially introduce to the market, we expect to see nothing less than a car that prides on new features and aggrieves look. While everything about the exterior and interior has not been made public, according to our sources, this new car will come with a less aggressive exterior. Light materials will also go into the construction, which will result in a lighter model and most importantly more fuel efficient and better performance. To make the outside design even better, we expect to see a series of upgrades starting with the side lamps and taillight. They will be polished and the car will certainly come with a new grille along with a redesigned fender. The outside will actually come with a stronger design.

The inside design is going to take a whole new angle; it is said the company will introduce a new row and there going t be ample cabin space to comfortably accommodate 8 passengers. There will also be enough space left to carry loads of cargo. It is not going to stop there; apart from quality materials that are going to go into the building of the inside, technological updates will not be left out also. We certainly hope to a see a few of amazing features embedded inside of the car. Some of the things we are going to see include a navigation system, top notch stereo system, safety features among others. The inside may also come fitted with a contemporary time infotainment strategy coupled with a larger touch screen display.

2017 Chrysler Aspen – Powertrain

While there are several rumors floating around regarding the engines, we expect to see this car be powered by either a series of Pentastar engines or one of those we saw in Durango, Town and Country Models. This selection of engines may not be the perfect choice when it comes to power, but the kind of mileage they come with its outstanding. The Pentastar engine will probably be a 3.2-liter V6 unit with the power output of 270 hp and torque of 281 lb-ft. The second engine will probably be a 3.6-liter Pentastar unit with V6, which is able to produce around 290 hp. The standard offering will be on the all-wheel drive.

2017 Chrysler Aspen – Release Date and Price

According to our reliable sources, 2017 Chrysler Aspen will be available soon after 2016 or in an early stage of 2017. As for the price, almost nothing has been said, but we expect to see a starting price of about $30,000. If that figure could change, we don’t know, but only time will tell.
