The vehicle is expected to be equipped with two engine options, available as either diesel or petrol engines. The engines will generate 132 hp and a torque of 128 lb-ft. The capacity of the petrol engine will be 1.4-liter with that of gasoline at 1.3-liter. There is speculation that a third powerful engine with a 1.8 liter capacity on four-cylinders will also be provided. This engine will generate 158 horsepower and a torque of 162 lb-ft. In general, the fuel economy is expected to be about 32 mpg on highways, 25 mpg in the city and 28 mpg when combined.

Toyota Matrix 2017 – Release Date and Price

The actual release date is not yet certain but the Toyota Matrix 2017 is expected to hit the market at the end of 2017. Even though the actual price has not yet been announced officially, the vehicle is speculated to cost between $20,000 to $24,000.
